(b)符合語文能力要求,即在香港中學會考╱香港中學文憑考試英國語文科考獲第2等級或以上成績,或具同等成績[請參閱註] 。 

申請人如– 
(i) 擅長策劃廣播工程項目、技術監督; 
(ii) 熟知廣播的製作、後期製作、傳送及網絡事宜;及╱或 
(iii) 具有資訊科技方面的額外資歷 
則更為理想。
註: 過往香港中學會考英國語文科(課程乙)E級的成績,在行政上視為等同二零零七年及其後香港中學會考英國語文科第2等級成績。
職責: 負責(i)協助策劃和開發數碼廣播設施,包括資訊科技╱伺服器系統及數碼電視╱電台分配系統;(ii)進行數碼廣播系統的製作、後期製作、傳送操作相關的工程可行性研究;(iii)就新廣播技術進行評估及報告其表現;(iv)就工程開發在內部與外間組織之間進行協調;(v)協助擬備及評估標書;及(vi)就工程項目的執行監察外間承辦商。
聘用條款: 受聘人將按為期一年之非公務員合約條款聘任。
福利: 受聘人如能圓滿地完成合約,並在合約期內一直維持良好的工作表現及行為,將可獲發約滿酬金。約滿酬金連同政府向強制性公積金計劃供款的金額相等於底薪總額15%。受聘人亦可享有根據《僱傭條例》規定給予而又適用的休息日、法定假日、年假、分娩假期和疾病津貼。

Job Title: Engineer I
Salary: $24,450 - $35,930 per month, depending on experience
Entry Requirements: Candidates should have - 
(a) (i) a Hong Kong Degree, preferably in electronics/telecommunication/computer/ systems engineering or engineering management, or equivalent; and 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in handling engineering projects in the TV and / or radio broadcast field; OR 
(ii) an accredited Higher Diploma/Associate Degree, preferably in electronics/telecommunication/computer/systems engineering or engineering management, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 4 years of relevant hands-on experience; OR 
(iii) a Diploma/Higher Certificate, preferably in electronics/telecommunication/ computer/systems engineering or engineering management, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 5 years of relevant hands-on experience; AND 
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent [See the Note]. 

Candidates who have - 
(i) been strong at project planning and performance monitoring; 
(ii) good knowledge of broadcast production, post-production, transmission and networking; and/or 
(iii) additional qualification in information technologies 
will have an advantage.
Note: “Grade E” in English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as compared to “Level 2” in English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Duties: (i) to assist in planning and development of digital broadcast facilities, including IT / sever-based systems and digital TV / radio distribution systems; (ii) to undertake engineering feasibility studies in relation to the application of digital broadcast systems in production, post-production and transmission; (iii) to evaluate new broadcast technologies and report on their performance; (iv) to coordinate with internal and external bodies in engineering development; (v) to assist in the preparation and evaluation of tenders; and (vi) to supervise external contractors in engineering project implementation.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidate will be appointed on one-year non-civil service contract terms.
Fringe Benefits If the contract is satisfactorily completed with consistently high standard of performance and conduct, the officer may be granted a gratuity which, when added together with the Government’s contribution to MPF scheme, equals 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Rest days, general holidays, annual leave, maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted on terms not less favourable than the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
