職責: 執行與下列一項或多項職能範圍有關的一般文書職責,其中可能涉及多類範疇的職務﹕(a)一般辦公室支援服務;(b) 人事;(c) 財務及會計; (d) 顧客服務;(e) 統計職務;(f) 資訊科技支援;及 (g) 其他部門支援服務。
臨時文員在執行職務時須應用資訊科技,並可能按運作需要,需要不定時工作或輪班。
聘用條款: 獲取錄的申請人將會按為期六個月的非公務員合約條款受聘。如職位有運作需要及受聘人於聘任期內表現令人滿意,並完全符合職位要求,受聘人或可獲續聘。
福利: (a)受聘人如在合約期內的工作及行為均持續表現良好,則在合約圓滿結束後可獲約滿酬金。該筆酬金,連同政府根據《強制性公積金計劃條例》(第485章)的規定為受聘人向強制性公積金計劃所作的供款,會相等於合約期所得底薪總額的10%;(b)受聘人可根據《僱傭條例》的規定,在適當情況下享有休息日、法定假日(或代替假日)、年假、分娩假期及疾病津貼。

Job Title: Temporary Clerk

Entry Requirements: Candidates must have (a)(i) Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Mathematics in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent [Note 1 and Note 2]; or (ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects including Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [Note 2 and Note 3] ; (b) met the language requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKCEE, or equivalent and; (c) Chinese word processing speed of 20 words per minute and English word processing speed of 30 words per minute [Note 4] and knowledge in the application of common business software.
Note: [Note 1: For the current appointment purpose, “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
Note 2: The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.
Note 3: For appointment purpose, “Grade E” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 2” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

Duties: To perform general clerical duties which may involve multi-tasks relating to one or a combination of the following functional areas – (a) general office support; (b) personnel; (c) finance and accounts; (d) customer service; (e) statistical duties; (f) information technology support; and (g) other departmental support.
A temporary clerk is required to use information technology applications in the discharge of duties; and may be required to work irregular hours or shifts.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for six months. Renewal of contract is subject to service needs, satisfactory performance and conduct during the employment period.
Fringe Benefits An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted if the contract is satisfactorily completed with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus the contribution made by the HKSAR Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Scheme Ordinance, will equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
General Notes: (a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

They should submit copies of their official transcripts and certificates by mail to the mailing address as indicated.
